We were so happy to host the wedding of Marisa and Jack at Bella Cosa. Here’s what they had to say about their day!
Our wedding was at Bella Cosa this spring. We found the venue through a quick search of villas near us here in Tampa.
It was the perfect upper 70s, sunny, and truly a perfect April day. The wedding had 115 guests, and we were able to include all of our family and friends without it being overwhelmed! It was an absolutely perfect day and to top it off, we had the pink moon (once a year!) and had a SpaceX mission launch after dinner (who needs fireworks?!).
We loved Bella Cosa and they made our special day even more special.
What theme did you have?
Our inspiration was an Italian garden party with a clean, modern aesthetic. Whites, tans, and greens. We loved incorporating natural wood elements too.
Did you have a cake?
No cake, but we had a gelato and café cart after dinner. We also had My the Brides Italian family home bake 1000s of cookies that they flew across country with!
What did the wedding party wear?
I wore a strapless A-line from Ines de Santo. It was the first dress I ever tried on, I fell in love! The unique touch was it was a very light shade of pink!
Jack (groom) was actually the one with the outfit change. Went from an all black tux to a shimmery pink jacket with black trim after the ceremony. No bridesmaids.
What flowers did you choose?
Bluegrass chic. I asked for a mix of white floral (hydrangeas, roses, etc) and a touch of pink, longer stem. I wanted more texture over a variation of colors!
How did you decorate the venue?
I had a ton of help! We had lights, chairs, furniture, and so much more from Eventworks, RW Events, our florist, and the best assistance from our planner, Dani and her team at Roots to Stems. I actually purchased the chargers, tablecloths, and small touches throughout the day myself.
Any suppliers you would like to mention?
LeaCakes – the best!
Anthology Entertainment – strings
Soundwave – DJ
L3 Limo- transportation
Uncommon Catering
What was the best part of the day?
Our first look by far. I was so excited to see him and have him by my side finally. A second close was reading our personal vows during the ceremony.
What advice would you give to other couples getting married?
If you are even thinking about it, BOOK WITH BELLA COSA!
Take moments throughout the day and night to take it all in, it goes by so, so fast.
